macOS or Linux version through WINE, Proton or Crossover?

The only reasons holding me back from even try it is the fact it is Windows only and it does not work with Proton, WINE or Crossover. I know that the answer in general is no plans to release it other than Windows. But wondering if it was ever considered to try and see if it possible to make it work through WINE, Proton or Crossover officially? I believe the Crossover team can also be hired to port Windows only titles to other platforms using their tools. I would be happy to see at least a demo to run on...

My standalone game made in gamegurumax will soon release on Steam, thanks!

Update: It is working now I used the most recent version as of April 29th 2025. I think it was the January released version, not sure. old: I can run the exe from the installed directory. The game will not work when using Steam launch. I get a white screen that has the Gameguru text top left, but the blue splashscreen never appears. [Depricated post] Steam is holding up the release of my game because GameGuru has a bug where some popups appear before the game launches

Steam is holding up the release of my game because GameGuru has a bug where some popups appear before the game launches, that have to be clicked okay. So all my effort is just being held up. Says "This file is encrypted and can't be loaded into GameGuru editor" when it is the standalone. how do I fix that? Then "These files are encrypted and cannon be loaded. No further warnings will be given". How do I get rid of that one too for the standalone? 2025 04 08...

Particle Booster export does not work.

The particle booster does not save the files to due users/name/documents folder. Can one change this file location? I found the 'Export Effect to GameGuruMax' button was missing, not allowing me to use the particles in GGmax.
