How do we add our own Terrain textures?

I had a look through the guide but couldn't find it.

That has not officially been implemented yet although you can still add your own via a workaround by replacing one of the stock but it must be in the right format.

That explains it. Thanks for the info. I need asphalt for roads. I can do this workaround for the textures, or make actual 3D road models. I think I'll try it both ways and see which looks better. Cheers.

The plan is to auto convert the textures for terrain but doing it now can be awkward due to the formats required ..
User GraPhiX however has made a great tool to convert them all ready to go from a single 2048 x 2048 texture ... Maybe worth a look.

It's not ideal that we have to rely on some paid user made tools. This functionality should be included in the program. I hope it will be added in the future.

Ye as in my first post you will see it just has not been officially implemented Yet.
In the meantime though there are options if you do not want to wait :)
