Working on Windows 8.1 64bit


1. Go to control panel
2. Select System\Advanced settings\performance\data execution prevention DEP
3. Make sure DEP is set to ''..except those I select''
4. Go to the bottom where it says ''add'' and find the location where you installed the game.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\\Common\Port Royale 2) and Find ''PR2.exe'' and select that to add to the exception list.
Make sure you click Apply on bottom right to save changes. Done and have fun!!.

PS I wouldn't recommend disabling DEP, can get a virus like that...
especially with people (or you) downloading crap on your pc.

All i did was use Nvidia Control Panel to run the game with intergrated graphics, worked great

None of this is working for me. Huge disappointment.
