I struggled to find these when I was looking but managed to find a good list from Selket and so I thought I would put them here for everyone to have easy access.

Threepart Treasure Hunt - Texts

All treasure hunt texts from Port Royale 2 and their solutions.

This article includes all (known) treasure hunt texts. Thanks to all who contributed to this collection!

Remark: I did not find all englisch treasure hunt texts, I had to translate some of them. These texts are marked with *. The texts might not be 1:1 identical with the ingame one's but you should be able to understand the clue.

Hunt Text 1
The place lies somewhere in the east.
The place lies somewhere close to X, up to 1 day's journey away.
X lies on the island, it's really quite small. But look to the southeast, there's none larger at all.

Solution: X is San Juan or St. Thome


Hunt Text 2
This place is located somewhere in the west.
The position lies in an area 1 day's journey from X.
Once long ago did other people here live, with their great temples praise to the gods did they give.
Above it lies X, up in a corner. You'll sail to the southeast in vain, I should warn you.

Solution: X is Cancun, near Sisal


Hunt Text 3*
It is the most western town in the region.
The place lies somewhere close to X.
The place lies somewhere in the west.

Solution: X is Tampico


Hunt Text 4
The place lies somewhere in the northwest.
The town that you seek is a desolate place, far flung from all the world, as though forsaken, or in disgrace.
The place is located somewhere to the south of X, not far from the coast.

Solution: X is Corpus Christi

The place is located not far from X, at most 1 day's journey away.
This must be a southerly location.
Here lies the town, overlooking the sound. It guards the bay, for with ships it abounds.

Solution: X is Maracaibo


Hunt Text 6
This must be a position in the middle of the Caribbean.
The position is located close to X.
Three little islands all alone, but only on one you can find ropes.

Solution: X is Turk Islands

The place lies in the southeast Caribbean.
Not far from the town, at the bottom of a cliff, lie the battered remains of an old wrecked ship.
The place lies somewhere in the area, 1 day's journey from X.

The city in the west is Tampa/ Florida. The chest can also be found north of Grand Bahama behind a rock (partly covered).

The distance from X to Nombre is not far, you have plenty of rum and can enjoy a cigar.

The place lies in the middle of the Caribbean.

In a large bay lie some towns, there are three. X refers to the most southern of these.

This must be a position in the northwest.

Solution: X is New Orleans

This must be a position in the south.
You come from the west, coming across the bridge. The town is a step away.
The place lies to the south of X.

Solution: X is Cartagena

This must be a position in the north.
The place lies not far off the coast of X.
Not the most northerly town can it be, but further north only one other will you see.

Solution: X is Fort Caroline

The position is located not far from X.
On its sands, the sea is home to towns for which no one cares. But one of these in particular has always produced fine wares.
The place lies somewhere in the east.

Solution: X is Guadeloupe/ Martinique


Hunt Text 19*
Four towns around one volcano. The one in the southeast is the desired one.
The place lies somewhere close to X, at most 1 day's journey away.
The place lies in the middle of the Caribbean.

Solution: X is Santo Domingo

The place lies in the middle of the Caribbean.
The position is located not far from X.
If you fall down from the massif to the north, you'll quickly get well in X again.

A bay holds two islands, one large and one small. The town on the larger, under X must it fall.

Hunt Text 22
The place lies in the southeast Caribbean.
Spain set up a harbor here once. You will find wood and bricks, but wheat there is none.
This place is located not far from X, at most 1 day's journey away.

Hunt Text 23
White strand beside the jungle, a little river known to none. Here you lie well hidden, in a bay seen only by the sun.
This must be a southerly location.
The place is located not far from X, at most 1 day's journey away.

Solution: X is Santa Marta.


Hunt Text 24
Holy August is now northward bound, very soon in the town is where he'll be found.
The position is located 3 to 4 days' journey to the east of X.
The place must lie in the far northeast.

Solution: X is St. Augustine, next to the island to the East.

The position lies up to 1 day's journey to the south of X.
An island far off, small and remote. There is nowhere else for X to denote.
The place lies in the middle of the Caribbean.

Solution: X is Cayman


Hunt Text 26*
The position is located not far from X.
Here, you should go, if you would like to bake colorful, sweet corn fields with vegetables in the clay oven.
The place lies somewhere in the north.

Solution: X is Eleuthera, behind the southeastern neighboring island

But also important is from the point at which you get the first clue you can find the treasure. So grab a Pinnace and start searching as soon as you get the first clue. Then bring in your big cargo fleet to collect the treasure in case it is goods rather than cash.
