Why doesn't the pink Mouflon breed a pink Sheep?

I got the pink/rare/Ukulele color Mouflon and was so excited to breed a Sheep out of it. But once I bred the sheep, instead of an adorable pink color, I got some kind of... dark blue fur, bright yellow face, bright blue legs sheep that uh. I'm not trying to be mean, but man, that thing clashed like crazy, I almost thought it was a sprite color bug. But the Piccolo Sheep appears that way in my menu too.

I was so disappointed :( I know the domestic animals don't always keep the same color, but usually it's at least CLOSE. Why was this one so different? I really wanted a pink sheep.

I take it both the parents were Ukelele Mouflons and you're not seeing a sheep breed that derived from "the other" parent?

They weren't the same parents, but I had already bred the other parent's color (triple-checked that) and colors are in the same order as the wild color they breed from. So I'm 100% sure it was from the Ukulele Mouflon.
