Chance of Strange Mushroom spawn?

I go to the location of spawning strange mushrooms everyday. Sunny, windy, rainy, festivals...
I have finished the main story, and all the secret items taken.

is this strange mushroom spawning just randomly? or it is seasonal, or I need to let the mushrooms stay for a few days until a strange one pops out?

I'm also hunting for one, but theres very little information about it, but based on what u said i would guess it's random.

I have tried twice but no.

Maybe I should wear mushroom hat also?

I think there's a small chance for one to spawn in any of the mushroom spots in that room. I've picked up a total of 4 across 1 year (one day, there were two!) without specifically looking for them. I tend to go mining on rainy days, so that MAY be a factor, but I wasn't keeping track of that. Pretty sure season does not matter though

It's possible you've just missed them, because they're a lot smaller and less conspicuous than the other mushrooms. 3 of the 4 I picked up were next to the little owl statue in the middle of the mushroom platform.

Those are simply rare mushrooms.

They give you a buff when you eat them. I only tried one, which gave me +5 foot speed for a few game hours, but I think it's random?

What do you mean with all the searching? They just grow in 1 room. Should be quick to check it and pick all the mushrooms so new ones can spawn 🤔

I mean if I go to the mushroom room everyday, I do not have enough time to go to other places...

Weird. But to answer your question, its just random. Weather don't really matter, and the mushroom hat is just cosmetic it doesn't do anything. And always pick the mushrooms you see in the room, so there's a free spot for the strange mushroom to spawn. Just down to luck as far as I know :(
