Haybales vs Fiber
Is it worth making haybales? Do they last longer than fiber?

They don't last longer, they provide a friendship bonus to animals. Whether or not it's worth it is kinda up to you. Do you need quick friendship and don't have access to handfeeding the animal grain? Then yes, probably worth. Otherwise, no, not worth.
