Does cooking ever become worthwhile?
So far, it's worth drying the ingredients and selling them as is, versus putting in the effort to cook for selling. I get it's good for stamina and I primarily use tomato juice for that, but I dunno it's just kind of sad :/. Garden Paws suffered the same thing.. I like the idea of feeding the tribe, but it feels so pointless to cook anything..

Will it become not a loss to cook to sell?

As it stands cooking is what you do when you need stamina and lots of foods also give you helpful buffs. If you want prosperity you're better off processing the ingredients (drying, pickling, and casking are best imo)
I don't see why they'd change that, but I guess it could happen? 🤷

Doubt it. There is already a lot of other things that is meant to be used for profit, as well as an NPC whos job it is to feed the tribe. You're better off using your juice for profit or processing, and cooking some meals that give ~100 stamina back in one go rather than chugging juice.

in short: no.
Cooking is meant for stamina recovery and buffs. not profit.

Yeah cooking is just what you use on your worst quality veggies to get some value out of them for stamina purposes.
