Wheres the new animal????

So I went to the savannah and there is no new animal at all. It does show in the journal area a bunch of new blank animal spots but I cant find the Aurochs I think theyre called. Anyone else have them???

I haven't yet. i know that they are restricted to year two though. I need to open my 2yr plus file and check them out.

I'm ten years in so I don't k own what the deal is. I have every variant of each animal with max stats in my save. Hopefully the new one will show up at some point.

I have seen them and can confirm they spawn in the savanna.

I've found it easily enough. They look a lot like the bison, but with pointier horns

Go to the savanna and bring up the map. In the upper left there's a thing for adjusting map markers - it has little tabs, go to the nature tab, then look for "Aurochs herd" and click on that, it should show you where they are at the moment.

Nothing still. Map doesn't have them listed and I've walked the entrie thing.

The map don't list animals or crops you haven't found yet. And they don't stay in one spot. They DO spawn in the commum spots animals rotate everyday, so look for each one and you will find them. It's easy to mistake them for bisons

I was able to find them on Day 1 of a new season.

I only managed to find them after one year and completing the prophecies. I got a smoke signal from Voda saying she's been hunting them. Did not see them until then.

Yes. The anouncement does say they are a second year animal
