Report a translation problem
The judges are all the political or spiritual leaders of each clan. Clues about who the judge is will be broad: it is/isn't this clan or it is a spiritual/political leader (It may be different if the judge is Inza, who apparently would just blurt it out if she's judging). These two pieces of information are enough to deduce who is judge.
The other clues tell you what ingredients certain groups or individuals like or dislike.
It can be a lot to remember. I find it best to focus on figuring out the judge, then go back for clues about the dish if I need to. You could screenshot or make notes to make it easier for yourself. Or you could just make whatever and not worry about it.
The only reward for winning appears to be 3x best quality of the winning meal. Possibly some friendship with the judge, but I haven't checked that at all.
