Buffs not working?

So, I have been trying to catch the last and most elusive fish, the Yark. I've tried mornings, evening, nights, I've tried clear skies and I've tried rain. All in The Land. I've had my buffs up to Fish Spawn 13+ Fish Rarity +8 I've been fishing for at LEAST 2 seasons pretty regularly (End of Autumn Year 3, Winter Year 3, Beginning of Spring Year 4) and I am ONLY getting Tik Taks and Porcupines during the day and occasional Stargazers at night. Am I doing something wrong?

I'd like to point out that I already recently reached out to the devs due to a "pets glitch" where I thought the pets were stuck inside, and yet it just turned out that I'm really dumb and had something blocking my house entrance, keeping the pets locked inside....so I really hope I'm not doing something wrong here.

I've read the Wiki where it says the Yark is only available in the morning when it rains, and I've tried every raining morning and ONLY get the TikTaks and Porcupines; and I try to catch it at all other times as stated above. Any help would be greatly appreciated; I want to 100% this game and then start a new file lol.

I have not done this but, try this:
When I go fishing and I do not want some fish, I click on them, so they go away, and new fish show. So try this and see if by doing so the fish you are looking for shows up. Usually, the hardest fish to catch move faster.

Yes, sadly I have tried this; I keep clicking on the "2 bar" fish (TikTak and Porcupine) so this run away and new fish will spawn....I do this ALL DAY LONG and the only higher bar fish I see is after 8pm I get the Stargazer (4 bars). Like literally for 2 full months in the game. It's driving me bonkers lol

Just give it a time, maybe someone can help you to know how to do it. I wish you good luck.
The other thing can be, that you are probably looking in the wrong area. Maybe you should try another one, because in times wiki is not all correct.

I got it! After all of those seasons and all of that trying, it FINALLY spawned on a rainy morning near the end of spring; I caught it just outside of the designated fishing area! Thank you for your help :)
