Question regarding this game and stress elements and stardew valley.
So this is kind of embarrassing to say, but stardew valley kinda was stressful for me to play lol.

Like How the time mechanic worked and stamina, you felt as though you were fighting a clock to see how much you could get done and whether or not you could get something done by a certain period.

Does this game have a time/stamina mechanic similar to stardew or does it feel more laid back?

Nothing against stardew valley of course it just felt that way to me personally. It doesn't help that the game has events and stuff you can permanently miss unless you wanted to spend another year playing the game waiting for the event to happen again.

It also has the same time and stamina mechanic. And I think it also has such seasonal events going on which probably repeat yearly or so.

It's weird, I found Stardew a really relaxing game to play.

Most farming games (including this one) have these mechanics. I understand what you mean; I'm the kind of person who plays Factorio, so when I played SV it was in no way relaxing to me as I strove to maximize every second of my time to the optimum. lmao.

But you should... how can I put this nicely.. simply relax. There's no rush to clear the game within the first year. Miss an event? "Oh well." Need to take 10 in-game days to mine? Take the 10 days. You're stressed because you impose the time limit on yourself. Go to sleep at 3pm if you run out of stamina. It doesn't break the game. Heck, sleep for a year to timeskip to the event you missed. Took me a while, but you can learn to make farming games relaxing for you. ^^

lol turns out I'm not alone in this sense!
nice to find more kindred souls with that kind of stress....
had the same problem with Stardew Valley
played the beta for 46 hours as Kickstarter backer (finished 1 year in game) and my take is Roots of Pacha is more "forgivable" in that regards...

you'll run out of stamina for the early games but once you get it up & running with the fishing & cooking, you can manage to restore enough stamina to last the whole day

just a friendly tip, DO NOT STAY UP TOO LATE past midnight (you'll thank me later)

i agree. I hate stamina and time restrictions. Mods made stardew a lot more fun and relaxing for me.
