2 questions about animals please !

Good morning.

1. Taking into account the advice here and there, what do you think of this list of animals that must absolutely be kept in our barns?
-10 boars (male or female) for the furs.
-5 male ibexes for the horns and 5 female for the milk.
-4 ostriches for feathers and eggs.


2. I think maybe take 1 or 2 female animals for ibexes but in the forest there are only males left. I had the idea to take female babies but the time they become adults it will take a long time right? Another solution ?

Well u can keep what ever u want in your Barns. I Have a Barn for each Animal to be honest and i started fit Guanaco and Ibex :)

2. did u play music to all the males? If not they will change in some days . But if u did and they have music notes u have to adopt one do make space for another one to spawn :)

Boars 100%.

Youll need tons of fur to make thread for the irrigation extenders. Male Ibex are junk. Truly the worst animal of all.

A few female Ibex are alright for Ideas needing milk, cheese, whatever. Same goes for the birds.

I'll add my question here:

I use the upper field for animal husbandry. I have completely fenced it in and so far have 2 barns there + granary and love shed^^

How many (fully developed) barns can I put there at most, so that the outside area is sufficient? Or does that not matter?

i have 8 Barns but in the bottom field and my animals dont go out for food xD The Granary is feeding them :D

I'd skip the male ibex. Keep one if you want to breed them. As for the wild ones, you can tame the males and then wait a few days for new ones to be added, but the new ones might be babies anyway so I would just tame the female babies tbh. If you need horns for quests you can trade them from Zeda btw

Only one Male Ibex with a harem of females. Horns are easy to come by by just riding through the Savannah.
