Co-op pets not coming to player house.

I'm playing a multiplayer play through with a friend and just upgraded the house to where she can move in with me. However she cannot invite her pet to come live in our shared house. The game still thinks she lives in the starting hut with the adoptive grandparents. Anyone have the same issue or know a fix or is this something the devs need to look at??

yeah have the same issue, i think u have to marry ur co-op partner but i still dont know how and noone in this forum can tell :(

I think it has something to do with the recipe for the union wreath or whatever it is called. I haven't gotten that far and it might make some sense.
