repeat last line 9 times, then do the one before and repeat again
I've been wondering about this too. I like to plan from the beginning for the max-level of farming, which in this case appears to be irrigation, but I didn't want to spoil anything for myself by looking up screenshots. Cheers for the schematic.
I planted my House on Village Slot 9 (for Later)
And used the Big Field now to the left of the House, started with simple 3x6 to 3x9 Fields, for the Bucket Watering and used Dirt Paths as a Blueprint for my Irrigationtrenches.
I used more extenders as needed (cause Aestethics and Symmetry :P) and planted down a well every 5 Squares on my Dirt path, again for "Early Game"
At the End, i had 8 3x24 Fields with Wells in the Corner and 5 Slots between them.
As i unlocked Irrigation i only needed to switch my dirtpaths out for the trenches and the wells for extenders, over the next days everything was switched out

The important thing is to get the lines exactly three fields apart, that way they irrigate the entire thing.
I've done it badly here, but if you look at the top row of irrigation, you should set each extender up to be in the same place relative to the field row - like I've done in the middle and right row. You can see that means that the later extensions further down the stream are all in the same place, and that means when I place multiple extensions in the future, I continue building parallel and equal extensions and thus get the full three fields between them.
Set up this way in field #2, you get 5 fields of 3 width and 1 field of 1 width, all watered. Your leftmost line will be off, but the other lines will all be of even length and so you can expand them evenly. Field #2 has a little bit of extension to the left as you go down, and that space can either be watered (and be awkward and of a different length) or you can have that be where trees and bees are.
Ignore the granary, it was just the easier way to get an overview lmao. I'm not sure if this is the most optimal, but it does make it easy to extend downwards. Just chuck an extender and another 9 trenches on the ends.
Here's the map level overview:

Extenders on the top row should either be on the left side of the field or the right. If you put them in the middle it makes it awkward to use big tools on the fields, like the scythe for harvesting, because you can't stand on an extender. You also can't put the extender on the joints, because they only output in one direction.
Likewise, the initial pump only outputs in one direction, so as nice as it would be to have it in the main line, it has to be a bit off to the side so that it can flow into a junction.

The thing who transform fur in rope
Irrigation dont show up ( im middle winter) someone have a idea why?
Why does no one here have a look at my guide T_T ^^
Irrigation needs Smelting developed and Spindle Whorl.
Smelting unlocks with your first obtained Tin.
Spindle Whirl unlocks if you tamed a shearable Animal and have at least 135k Village Prosperity.
If you have both Technologies, you just need to reach 155k Village Prosperity, that unlocks Irrigation
Take your time, many people don't even know the Guide tab exists :D
if you made a guide how about put your info on the official wiki page ? it's a better place to put it
I did a shoutout on the Discord yesterday, that i am willing to give all my Information (editited Screenshots etc.) i have to someone who knows how to handle a wiki.
I'm good at edititing and spreadsheeting, but dont have a clue how to wiki^^
Tried it yesterday, felt overwhelmed after looking 10 hours at excel at the same day and gave up xD
But found no one on the Discord (lol)
