Slow animal & tree produce?
So I am still in year 1 (end of autumn). I noticed some weird imbalance between tree produce and animal produce. Maybe someone can explain to me some of the design decisions and if there will be worked on in the future or if everything stays that way. But to me it seems kinda off and makes the whole farming/husbandery stuff more unrewarding and frustrating than it should be.

I have 4 Ostrichs (2 male, 2 female, adults). 2 Bison (1 female, 1 male), 2 Wardhogs (1 male, 1 female) and 4 of them goats where I forgot the name, I call them Ibis (1 male, 3 female). It feels like the ratio between waiting time for fur regrow rate/ laying eggs and the amount of what you get is kinda off? Maybe it is just me but will it become better with more clan contribution points or something down the line in later years?

Atm the Bisons will give 1 small piece fur every 7 days each. The Wardhogs give 1 piece of fur every 2-3 days. I understand that there is a need to wait a bit to let them regrow their beautifull fur after cutting everything away. But come on - isn*t 7 days a bit much and given their big sizes I kinda ask myself why I don*t get at least 3-4 furs from both species. Maybe someone can evaluate. Atm it feels kinda unrewarding and unbalanced.

My Ostrich ladies are kinda lazy, as well. Although I have 2, only 1 lays 1 egg every couple of days (I think it is like every 2-3 days). There is always just 1 egg, never 2. The male ones shed their feathers regularly every 2-3 days. Both of them. Here doesn*t seem to be an imbalace.

No probs with the Ibis. Getting milk every 2 days by all the females is ok imo. And the one male seems to enjoy his harem very much and gifts me his horns as thanks every 3-4 days as a thanks. I am kinda ok with it given that I find a lot of horns in the savannah, as well.

Another thing I noticed are the trees in the savannah, the forest and the beach specifically.

In summer I could get dates and coconuts from the beach 2 times as a whole. The dates were rather plenty, although it was just 1 fruit per tree. I always got around 6 dates. Then I had to wait for almost 2 weeks to get another round.
The coconuts though...I got 2 nuts in 4 weeks because only 2 palm trees grew 1 coconut out 1 time only - the other palm trees stayed clear. Don*t know about you but when I look at the rl palm trees outside there are at least 3-6 coconuts on every palm tree you see.

In the forest, pine cones can be found almost everyday on a lot of pines in almost every season. Only 1 per tree, but given that there are so many pine trees you get around 8-10 pine cones on a good day. A pomegranate for example, which also only seems to grow in spring, you only get 2-4 times in the whole season and only 1 fruit per tree. Pomegranate needs regrowth time - and it takes it time.

Same with the olive tree and the almond tree in the savannah. It sheds only 1 fruit per tree and then it needs almost the whole season to regrow. It is also all the more frustrating bc there aren*t so many other olive and almond trees around.

I know that is a wall of text but I really ask myself what the design decision was for this. I get that trees need their regrowth rate. But why is it only 1 fruit per tree? And why are there some trees that are not only plenty around but also grow stuff regularly, while most others only grow stuff once or twice a season. That doesn*t feel right.
When I look at our trees, they have plenty of fruits or nuts. Never did I see a tree with only 1 cherry, pear or apple.

Sorry for the wall of text. I am also no native english speaker but hopefully someone can explain and maybe I am just impatient and I get more stuff the higher my contribution will be or when I build bigger animal huts or something. But atm it is really head scratching weird.

The golden pomegranate is a really neat item from the caves for this reason too, speeds up the jump to next generation.

About trees, yup, way too slow, if only they were affected by plant growth speed at least. Though, on the other hand, you can place an insane amount of them due to the huge farmland, and you don't need to replant, water etc. basically its possible to make a semi-automatic wine farm for great income. The main problem here though being how you would only get produce one month per year ..

Ok thanks, than I will try my best to ramp up my animals at least. And hope for a solution regarding the trees in the upcoming weeks/months. :D

Can I grow pomegranates all year long by planting the tree seed? It seems that pomegranates only appear in spring in the forest , can they still grow in summer and autumn on my farm? And the tree species in winter seem to stop growing. The trees I cut in the wild don't grow in winter.
