Sunflowers in Fall?

I think I accidentally locked myself out of progression for 3 seasons ;_;
I needs honey for the bear which means I need bees, which means I need sunflowers. The wiki says they grow in the fall, and are from the Savannah, but I cannot for the life of me find the wild seeds! Am I missing something, or am I just boned?

you can get bee wild honey in any season, just need to get the idea for the beehive

You can find Sunflowers by that giant tree in in the river area of the Savannah.

Sunflowers' season is Summer, you can grow them in the fall if you have seeds but their seeds can only be found in Summer.

If they haven't planted and harvested sunflowers once before they can't get the beehive idea though unfortunately, i made that same mistake

they 100% still appear in fall, I am in Y1 fall and they are at the same spot

Also confirming. The general rule is: If it grows in that season, you can find it in the wild somewhere.
