When you play an instrument, it gets added to the soundtrack and raises the stone with the corresponding symbol. Only one instrument can be active at the same time, when you play a different one the previous stones lower themselves. So you will have to choose a path available and change the instruments to progress. It sounds harder than it is, since you usually just have to play the newest instrument in your path (Aside from the end of the puzzle).
Time was game would have just dumped it on the map and said work it out bro ..
A friendly tip: never touch the older zelda games if you are having THIS MUCH problem with it. On that note also stay away from the Tomb Raider series. They will make you cry even louder.
Anyway, Before I really start, I'd like to say that you are 100% entitle to have your own opinion and if anyone here say that you should, obligatorily, agree with them, you should tell tem to go eat grass or something more R rated.
Now here is MY opinion: NO. This is not a problem, this is a FEATURE. Puzzles are for YOU to figure out what each instrument does and what parts move. Its a PUZZLE CHALLENGE just because you cant brute force it as easily as you probably did with the owl challenge (because this one you also can brute force, but its less obvious) don't mean its "a complete and utter miss"
This is not a dev's or game issue. Its a SKILL ISSUE.
The fact that you complain after having to use google/wike/internet to solve such a basic problem that had, at most, 1 or 2 diferent kinds of options that were not the correct one tells more about you than the game itself.
Also don't try old prince of persia. Or Lost Vikings. Or the Trine series. Those are all puzzle games that would fry your mind!
Edit: Or Oddworld (the one with the weird alien) or lemmings. LOVE LEMMINGS! I forgot how many puzzle games I played before that were amazing
I found a map on the Fandom wiki that purports to show the way. I had to try it twice, but I finally managed, Thank GOD.
That's interesting. And what does this way involve?
Merci beaucoup, thank you very much
You're most welcome.
I think these are more personal problems. lol
