Horse Statue

Anyone know what the horse statue needs in the caves? All its telling me is it wants something sweet and that i haven't found it yet . Its possible I missed something, or maybe I need to wait longer until I've unlocked something else?

How do you get to the monkey statue?

Ive gotten to both, the monkey statue is to the right and up of the horse. I spent hours obsessing over that horse totem today thinking it might be a riddle 2 rooms below, when you see the green glowy turtle guy while using a torch... he says something where "grain" and "pulverized" are highlighted.
I spent hours making different flours - pretty sure I was on the wrong track.

"She says, 'what she likes is sweet, but you haven't seen it'" I have a feeling if we acquire or create the "right thing" the dialogue won't change meaning its some kind of riddle. It's also very possible I've been over thinking it... hopefully someone responds - if you didn't ask this question, I was going to =)

I am pretty sure the pulverized grain is a hint for the money statue. Regarding the sweet but haven't seen it line, I grew some strawberries, sweet potatoes, and tried a date because each said they were sweet in their descriptions, but no luck. I did have the same thought, though. Maybe once that item is discovered, the dialogue will be different?

How do i get any further, im stuck in a dark cave. Lighted up one of the torches, the other is out of reach.

Just follow the road downwards and to the right, then afterr upwards, still towards the right, theres a way out on that side.

did you figure the horse and monkey totem out yet

I unlocked the monkey but not the horse. I confirmed horse does NOT want honey, strawberry, date, sweet potatoes. Does anyone know if Sugar exists in the game? Like horses enjoying sugar cubes...

For monkey, it wants:

x1 fermented fish - need to unlock the fermenter
x1 ground up grain (has to be grain) - need to unlock the mortar and pestle
x1 juice - need to unlock the press

Where is the cave painting that shows the fermented fish item? I have looked all over the caves and can't find it.
