How do you use the press?

I'm trying to make oil but I can only see UI for the available recipes. It looks like "Any Seed" can be used for oil, but clicking on the recipe doesn't do anything. Am I missing something obvious?

Hiya

I thought the same thing until I realised there are crops considered seeds.

To make oil you either need seed crops like sesame, olives or Avocados. So far I've found sesame seeds in the savannah and olives grow wild there as well.

Also you have to hold the object and interact with the press, I couldn't get the recipe menu to do anything at all.
