What do i give to the owl statue as third item? pls mark the answer as spoiler for others.

The three items you give to the owl statue are a potato, wheat, and pinecone. I wasn't sure which one you were missing so I wrote all three.

I keep seeing this, and I have gotten to a room with a little pedestal that says I have to impress Owl, but I don't see the actual owl totem. Is that something that just unlocks later? Also, I keep going in the savanna and the beach caves, but only seem to be able to get to one room. I would love a hint as to how to progress in the caves! (I have unlocked the first transport / totem)

Don't worry about the savanna and beach caves, if you keep exploring the main cave you will eventually discover their use.
In which room are you stuck? did you upgrade your axe to be able to cut the roots that cover a crack in the wall? There's a wall painting giving you the hint near the roots.
Aside from that, take into account that a room can have multiple doors that open when you break enough rocks. Depending on which wall has the doorway, it's easy to accidentally miss one.

Thank you! I didn't realize you had to keep breaking rocks once you got to the flint cave. I mean, I broke some and then was just so focused on flint that maybe I didn't break enough normal ones!

It's summer so I can't grow potatoes. I gave the owl a fish, and a pinecone and he accepted that. Will he accept anything else or do I have to wait until spring again?

As long as the produce is "root" you can offer it , i offered carrot

My dumbass never saved a pinecone or pomegranate. I'm in fall. Any way to obtain one of these during fall/winter?

if that is the case, where do i find treefruit in the fall/winter? i cant find anything on any trees

You have Palms on the Beach for Dates/Coconut, Trees in the Savannah Olive/Almonds but dunno which grows in Fall.
Last Chance is the Jungle, for Mango/Lemon, should spawn all Year there, but slowly
