So, Premium Lumber
I had 3 I whipped up when they cost like 98k to make and sold for maybe 118k or so. I decided I'd sell one for a bit of cash to cover insurance costs on using this blue cradle set for that request, and uh...

They increased the sell price of it. It's 177k each now. No idea when they did it, but yeah, if you need cash and have a lot of wood lying around, it's definitely worth it.

At that sales price and a COGS of 98,300 money, the margin is very high at 78,700, but the ROI is over 2.5 times greater for Grade A Batteries (9,500 COGS @ 29,000). Premium Lumber does have a great margin/minute at 1888.80 money, if you are concerned with TAT.
Definitely food for thought.

I found it's easier to get mutated lumber, shield paint, and maintenance kits than it is the ores and stones for the battery, especially if the latter will be needed for coffin replacement part crafting.

It might be worth while to use inventory percentages to weight the price of inputs, because, yes, indeed, there is definitely considerable differences in availability of materials. My numbers all assume only sales price as input cost of materials. This opportunity cost based calculation makes it easy to rationalize not selling your materials, if you can craft something out of them.

When players start selling gear during sorties, or charging tolls, value per weight will be king.

Yah me as well these are literally everywhere
How the heck are you guys finding enough mutated lumber for this? I've only been able to make premium wood once, and I have about 40 hours in this game so far.

East map. Anywhere forest like has likely 2-4 sitting around.
Northern area has it in a few spots for them - around the agricultural plant (specifically a spot near a tree's roots on I wanna say the southern side?) and the lake usually has some by its little "islands.". There's also some in the "blue crap" by that lake area a bit further in, by the crystal placed near the fork in the road.

Bandits sometimes have them too oddly enough.
