yooo, am getting the same exact error. Currently doing a file integrity check on the installation to see if anything improves.
Also quick question, is your game installed on your c: drive or a different storage volume?
Hey dude! Tracked this post down to let you know that I refunded the game, still couldn't play it.
BUT, to get past the title screen I had to remove my "Spybot Search and Destroy" security software. It seems that the Easy Anti Cheat system has an issue with it.
I got past the title screen but had another issue; the intro sequence was literally running at 8 FPS, some research online and one of the responses from a Bandai Namco support tech told me that the game had defaulted to using my on board AMD graphics card which is no wear suited to playing a game like this. I did some more research then tweaked the game with Windows itself to force it into using my discrete Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU.
The issue still was not resolved, the intro sequence was still slow as faq and I then got an error message saying that the game was shutting down because my graphics card didn't have enough video memory. It was at this point I tapped out.
My Omen HP 15 laptop can run Helldivers 2, Space Marine 2, Doom 2016 and almost any heavy game I have thrown at it save for Synduality. Perhaps the game needs more optimization but I ain't waiting around for it after paying full retail price. I have since refunded but thought to let you know of how I got past the title screen, so you may have more luck and enjoyment of the game than I ever did.
