Missed the pre order, still worth it?
Greetings!
DISCLAIMER: Giving some background info at the top of the post. Please scroll down to read specific questions about the game. Thank you kindly for your assistance :)

I was initially going to preorder very early because I thought it would be like Division II or Elden Ring etcetera (open world-ish rpg (with mechs & waifus) but with designated PVP zones). You can enter there for great rewards, but then again you also risk getting your sweet bummer handed over to you, the choice is yours.

Then I realized it’s open world-iish ”forced pvp” instances. So I was like; ”Naaah”.

Then I asked about it on Steam: Got the explanation from fellow players that the game, besides the association vs Black Market whatchamacallit player factions (based on pvp activity) and thus the north/south map things, ALSO has a built-in PVP/PVE matchmaking system that makes it so that; if you are a PVE player; you are more likely to be matched with fellow PVE players by the system.
If you are a PVP player; hou are more likely to be placed in a map with ptjer PVP players.

i was like; Hmm I need to learn & know more! This sounds enticing (because frankly I cannot help but love* mechs in a post-apocalyptic combat (against other mechs and ”aliens” setting. I even get a co-pilot (anime waifu!!) and a base to upgrade and mechs look cool, sound cool and they are just ”right” for me (not flying gundam giant mechs, but I am not forced to fight ”on foot” either like 99% of other post apocalyptic games).

I AM interested; but I am new to whole ”Tarkov” series-like estraction games. How do I get better at saving my a$$? O need to learn more before I preorder?

Guess what happened then?
REAL LIFE! 2 incoming phone calls and I am at an emergency-life-crisis situation (not job! But as I am a government employee (investigator) err. was* until recently before my sickness, I know the routine and potential risks if this hot plate ain’t handled carefully).

No time for games. No time for anything. I need to handle these cases now! No yesterday! (Investigating, producing documents rapidly, and making calls frantically (ambassies, foreign affairs etc.) to get the immediate stuff done a.s.a.p).

Meanwhile; my gaming PC is from 2017 and I own a PS5 pro. So if I buy Synduality; ofcourse it’s gonna be on my PS5 Pro instead of my gaming PC that’s almost 8 years old.

So I now learned my basics for ”Tarkov style” games and strategies to delve-in Synduality, but lo and behold! While the game is still available for pre-order on Steam, (and Xbox?), ir’s nevertheless already been released on PS5. So I was intending to pre-order the ultimate schlong dong edition (coz even after all the ”research”, the game is so interesting to me for it’s post-apocalyptic setting and mechs despite the possibility of forced pvp. i just gotta be sensible and play my cards right!) but now ofcourse I am late for preorder and the Daisyogre is gone! :(

So in your opinion (not asking you to decide for me, just asking fellow players for their opinions):

1-Is it worth it to buy the game at full price even though I won’t be getting the pre-order mech parts? (Or wait for sale)?

2-A Quick google search didn’t yield anything. But was there any tangible pre-order rewards besides the Daisyogre parts and the early access opportunity? (after eeading about ir; I wasn’t gonna use Daisy Ogre until I got the blueprints from Battle Pass anyways).

3-Is it true that we can get the blueprints for Daisy ogre later in the game via the battle bass (so that tjen we even can craft it as many times as we want so long as we have the resources?)

4-Is the ”premium” battle pass included with the ultimate edition of the game (PSN; ”Ultimate Drifter Pass Seasonal Bonuses”).

So now I REALLY NEED YOUR WISDOM! :)
5-If I buy the Ultimate Edition now without being able to pre-order: Will I be missing out on anything besides the early access (that’s fine) and the Daisy Ogre parts at the start (And like maybe an extra magus etc)??

6-Will I nevertheless be able to get craftable Daisy Ogre parts for my mech (Cradle Coffin?) if I play the game and do my Battle Pass grind?

If yes (and especially if the necessary Battle Pass (for Daisy Ogre schematics) indeed is included in the Ultimate Edition); ima gonna purchase the game right away on PS5. Yeah, auch my wallet but worth it IMO :D

Apologies for the long-winded post and thank you kindly to anyone who took the time to read or reply to my questions :)
Cheers!

The game isn't for everyone, if you hate battlepasses with a passion or allergic to harsh penalties, skip it. Depending on your region, the experience could anything from a day in a field of tulips or the average day for a WH40K guardsman.

The battlepass doesn't give you the schematics for the DaisyOgre, only the parts which you can lose if you get shot down while using it, schematics are still locked in the advanced access version, but I suspect it'll show up as a request reward once the game launches.

Ultimate edition includes everything, DaisyOgre cradle, Noir and Mystere magus plus the "premium" battlepass.

If the ultimate edition is available, you should get everything, advanced access is over so unless you've got a time machine, that should be the only thing you're missing out
on. Just to be on the safe side, double check the contents of the edition you're getting before buying.

Do note, none of the editions give the blueprints to craft the daisy ogre, only ONE copy of the parts (which you can loose if destoryed during a sortie).

However, you CAN unlock the blueprints for these parts at the END (like lv90+) of the BP.

I stand corrected, arms at 84, legs at 88 and body at 96

First of all, thank you for your reply! :)

As you said; the game seems to very much be an; ”acquired taste” (not for everyone) and I’m fine with that.

But despite reading so much about the game; I’m still somewhat confused about some stuff uhuh :D

Just to clarify; Is the Daisy Ogre part of the Ultimate Edition or is it a pre-order bonus? (I am going to buy on PSN(PS5) and pre-order is not available there anymore).
I am thinking that if I but the Ulti edition now; I might get most of the stuff but I won’t get the Daisy Ogre at the start (like pre-orderers did)?

My.. Battlepass confusion (Yeah sorry about that!)
Is there a difference between the Premium Battlepass included in the Ultimate Edition and the thing called; ”Advanced Access”?
I was guessing Ultimate edition includes the Premium Battle Pass; which in turn is the same thing as the paid version of the regular Battle Pass a.k.a; ”Advanced Access”?

My guess was like this;
Daisy Ogre is either granted at the start of the game when pre-ordered (if you equip it & die, you loose it!).
OR; even if you didn’t preorder; if you buy the Ulti Edition (premium gamepass included) OR buy the regular version and purchase the ”advance access” for the Battle Pass and grind enough BP levels; you gain access to re-craftable schematics of the Daisy Ogre mech parts?

I apologise for all the confusion and welcome any insight from you guys if possible :)
Thanks again.

The DaisyOgre is pre-order only. You've missed out.

Advanced access was the ability to play 7 days ahead of everyone else.

Deluxe Drifter pass gets you premium battle pass items, Ultimate gets you premium items and starts you off at level 25 of the battle pass.

Yes, if you purchase the battle pass, you get the schematics for the arms at lvl 84, legs at 88 and body at 96.

Thanks bro! And thank you to all the other folks who replied as well! :)

So I understand that Daisy Ogre that’s granted at the start (if killed, it’s gone!) was pre-order only.

But with the battle pass included in the Ulti Edition; will I be able to craft it myself anyways if I grind the battle pass? Daisy Ogre arms at 84, legs at 88 and body at 96 (re-craftable) , right?

Yes, with the ultimate edition, you only need to grind 71 more levels to get the set since you start at lvl 25.

So this is incorrect. Daisy ogre blueprint can be gotten from the battlepass. I'm not sure which version. But the arms are available at 84, legs at 88, and body at 92.

Irony is you get the Rabbit GT +2 blue prints earlier. Now at a late date i can see us getting the DaisyOgre +1 and +2 in a future battle pass or request. But the base model is in the pass.

You really need to read the entire thread before quoting someone. The body is at 96.

Update Jan 23 @ 7:26am
The pre order parts are just a bonus. They can be lost on death like anything else in the game and can be unlocked for crafting further in the battlepass
They're basically the same as Rabbit gt outside of cosmetic

Thank you again, Update :)
And thank you all the folks who took time to reply here :)

And yeah, it's all very subjective but this looks good to me (not perfect, but good). I'm gonna get the game very soon & I will be running around in starter gear for a long, long while I think. I'll only use the sweeter stuff when I got the blueprints & necessary $$ and materials to craft'em myself like 10 times over and when I can pay the insurance with no sweat (especially on valuable stuff).
My n00b strategy is basically this:
Play in starter gear 90% of the time and eject on near destruction so I won't have to re-pay for Magus.
When objectives above achieved (base, blueprints, $$ and materials): Insure & use the better stuff but refuse to eject and pay for the Magus.

Only question: Is the insurance still in effect if I don't eject? Like, yeah I gotta pay for the Magus but as an added cost but otherwise in regards to insurance things are the same. Or do I somehow risk losing my insurance rights if I don't eject?

You have to pay for insurance each time you go in. Even if you survive.
