So how rare are incubator cores?
I'm about 20 sorties in just for those and I got 4. Is there anything I'm missing in getting them besides shooting them?

Horrible pain in the butt. If you use the Spider Mech set you supposedly get a drop bonus, and if you kill them during the rain you get a bonus. But that was perhaps one of the more painful farms I've done yet.

yeah I can feel that. I try the spider next but christ this is the one req left for me right now

That quest exists on the Black Market side too. Imagine trying to do it while everyone is trying to kill you.

Just as a heads up, if you ever go to the dark side, do all your base upgrades and stock up on rare cores and stuff prior. Would make life a lot better. Vast majority of Black Market quests mirror the Association ones, and you can't buy gear until you complete them. Same as Assoc side.

You arene't running aroundin the southern zone by any chance? Saw the same guy twice there and was running around with him. And now I wish there would be some sort of massage system in game or to add to some sort of friend list

You want to be real careful with grouping tools in this game. I too wish I could easily play with friends etc, but this kind of full loot game would become very rough for newbies and farmers if people are able to form premade gank squads with real life voice comms for coordination.

They really wouldn't even care about loot at a point and would just roam around killing anyone that moves. I think it could risk really harming the game if they weren't very careful about how they implemented it.

Yeah understandable, but maybe IF they ever add some PVE only server then for that it would be neat.

I wasn't farming them in the southern zone, no. That place is dangerous for farming something like this, lol. I usually just farm these in the training area in the north.

The southern zone has made people bloodthirsty for some reason, lol. I've been seeing more and more PKers the deeper I get into quests for this zone.

For me it's the other way around. Everytime I go northern, I see the same 3 or 4 different bounty targets killing people left and right
Meanwhile south is more chill.

i spend more time looking over shoulder for bandits, and KILLING THEM FIRST! before i continue the scavenge hunt for resources, it has become sort of a thing... 5/8 bandit kills per sortie, plus whatever enders are unlucky enough for my magus to point out... only to RTB with a pathetically small load, since it weighs so much to go out prepared, and hating that i had to drop items off to allot weigh for the 2 AO stones worth enough to buy a cup of coffe, and looking at that it cost me 20 or 30 grand to insure the fkn mech, so even a 9K win on a run is actually a 15K loss, and shave with death... for scrap materials, so i can waste 100 grand to make a FKN table for my magus to put the 30 GRAND piggie bank on the 90K flooring area, and prance around on a 50 million M garage, and still live maxed out and fearful of using my pink rated (epic) stuff, because it is all made of glass, the durability of everything, regardless of XP, LVL and quality os PALTRY! you only get higher HP coult, NO DURABILITY, or damage reduction due to MATERIAL QUALITY... im starting to hate myself for buying this game, i ABANDONED fallout76 and tried to sue Steam for a refund over this same feeling im getting now.
i either got lucky or the spider is fantastic because it took me 3 sorties to get 10

You might want to reconsider your methods. Don't farm in your gucci pvp rig. Instead, get a cheapo green setup to farm with, or hell even a Jackbox. Just run that farming crystals and mats and bring out your big Epic pvp rig when you want to go pick a fight.

Decide what your mission is before you launch and just do that. Farming in your gucci pvp ship isn't very efficient in the risk vs reward scenario. Don't farm in your pvp rig, and don't pvp in your farm rig. Simple as.

Some of you have never played EVE and it shows lol. Stop riding down curtland Ave in your new Mercedes. Someone might want it. But good on you for being able to defend it.

Yeah, the most expensive thing I even bring with me is my gun, but even then, that's an easy 7k just to buy a new one in case I lose it for whatever reason, lol. I'm nearly 30 hours in and MOST of that time has been spent with the Jack parts.
