Is the Game Even Worth $100?

Or even $70 for that matter? I wasn't able to participate in the network tests, but I've seen a little gameplay and it looks interesting enough. Not entirely sure it's worth its price tag though... even the base $40 has me at pause (if the game is "good" I can usually justify giving a little more to the devs to support them and to help provide further incentive for good things in the future).

I don't mind the fact that its kinda like a Mech Tarkov clone, but without me being able to try it, all I can rely on is my eyes and what people have been saying. Some people have been saying that the PvP portion of the game is very, very clunky and is usually decided by who meets who first and pulls the trigger. Others kinda like the Mech exploration and the small things like the bits and pieces of the world narrative that it shows you (regardless or not if there is actually a story/ campaign to the game).

Those that have actually experienced it, what are your thoughts as of this moment?

I thought it was pretty fun from the two closed tests I played. They're also doing an open network test sometime in the future but we don't know when that will be for the moment. In terms of pricing though, at least it's not another early access game like you see for about half the games in the extraction shooter genre. I think $40 is a good price but others will say it should be free.

To me its not worth the base game bundle price never mind the overpriced super mega ultra special bling bling must have 100 odd pack.

The game is just to shallow for me to recommend for the base price and i expect most people will likely say anything but the base game only is overpriced and not worth it. I want to like the game but the network test proved to be a massive letdown so i would say wait for a sale before buying as i kind of expect it to go free to play.

It should be F2P from the start with how much extra is being sold. Passes, always-online, cosmetics...

Shallow game, not much to it, and runs/looks pretty bad. I was hyped for it but after second playtest I knew itd be a flop.

It'd be a good f2p game but paid? Nah. Not with so many things that should be in the game being left out.

No game is worth a $100 ever, barely any are worth $60 for the past however many years yet alone $100.
