Gotta agree. Don't even know what possessed me to try this game despite knowing how underwhelming the anime was. And sure enough, the game was pretty much an extension of the anime - middling and inconsistent in all aspects.

Well at least they named the mecha appropriately, cos you'll be dying of boredom piloting one.

Yeah I agree it was pretty generic by all means especially the main villain its so cheesy 90s anime villian.

I dont think it was bad like b or c tier. Like its atleast not that kind of average where theres nothing bad to make fun of but nothing good to be excited about either. Worst thing i can say about it is that its on hulu.

I think it served its plot well enough but idk just funny to think it ties into a game of all things.

For me this wasn't on Hulu rather on Disney+ for me

You know what's funny?
You will still be able to watch Noir years later, while this game will shut down and become unavailable in a couple of years.

I'm watching Noir now btw and it's pretty good so far.

Can't but feel like the devs are not entirely sure where they want to take the game.

If you look up original stuff about the game, it screams traditional single player experience.

The whole extraction shooter honestly feels like something they decided to change game to to chase the trend.

A dying trend, which is why I have 0 expectations for this game to be good, or last.

it's actually really common in japan, why do you think so many anime only get 1 season? most of them are just long form ads for another product, normally a manga or LN

Its usually greedy western devs I see trying to push this idea that there can be a story in a live service game, Apex/Overwatch/riot/etc.
Im mean sure you can write ♥♥♥♥ on a wiki but nobody is going to read or care about that might as well be fanfiction.
Either make a single player campaign or stop trying to make this cheap ♥♥♥♥ "oh we're a serious game you should get invested in we're totally not just hoping youre dumb enough to actually fall for it so you get invested in buying more loot boxes"
