In regards to single player regarding recent events.
I think it has been demonstrated that a single player mode in an extraction shooter is a popular concept that people have been wanting for a while now. Hoping the devs of this take note of that properly.

Eh, as long as they keep the multiplayer version for folks to enjoy. It has been fun as heck so far.

Multiplayer has a lot more longevity than singleplayer ever will. The only problem I can see with this game is a small community and its eventual abandonment by developer.
Potential longevity is what you mean. Multiplayer games tend to die really often, and if the game doesn't have player hostable servers it's death is more than likely only a matter of time.
People still play games that had no multiplayer from the 90's. Games have had their multiplayer services shut down and people still will play the single player.

A game that offline singleplayer can literally never die.

If the above is guaranteed to happen then the focus should shift to singleplayer replay value and mod support.
They don't need to do a shift, they could either pull a tarkov and have a pve variant of the game or where if you if you have anticheat disabled, the server can't be detected, or are banned it shoves you into a local session where you don't interfere with the greater community if there even is one at that point.

this();

Offline singleplayer and user-hostable MP.

In the old times, we where used to host our own gameservers (in CPDs, servers up and running 24x7 you know)... I'm missing old good practices, every day more.
