Overview of Synduality News Before Release. Every Pre-release Gameplay Review, Video, and Interview

I've actually been keeping up with the news Bandai has been putting out for this game. I have also been trying to find every gameplay review, video, and interview and will be listing them here so that everyone can access them easily.

At the Tokyo Game Show (Sep 21-24), there was a public demo for participants of the event to play. They had also announced a delay to the release date of 2023, with no set release date planned.

On October 25 2023, an Advance Trial Session was announced. This trial was meant for participants of the official Discord server, and 4 people were selected. It was held in-person, in Tokyo, on November 18 after the application period from Oct 25 to Nov 1, and the participants were selected on Nov 6.

Biggest points from these interviews:
The build played at the trial is the same as Tokyo Game Show from September and was at the 60-70% complete stage. The current build is beyond that.
The producer, Futami-san, has said that he wants to show the game to the world more often, including more trials, Closed Beta Test, and Open Beta Test.

A second Advance Trial Session was announced on December 5 2023. The application period is from Dec 5 to Dec 12 and the winning participants will be notified on Dec 14. The trial will take place on Dec 23 2023, and has 3 sessions scheduled for the day. Hopefully with 3 sessions, they can have around 15 participants from the Discord.

I'm hoping that Synduality will make an appearance at the next State of Play in February or so. The best time to release the game is while the anime series, Synduality Noir, is airing starting on Jan 8, 2024.

I'll try to keep this updated in the future. I'd love to hear your thoughts after you have seen and read the gameplay reviews and videos.

Not just seemingly, it is the same world. The game is set in 2222 and the anime is set in 2242.

So the game is earlier than the anime?

I'm still hyped, the dumb PvPvE thing aside, should just be a single player game.
