Does this game even have a story?

I'm having a lot of trouble discerning any palpable story or theme from this game. I've heard tell of some themes of ambition buried deep inside, but this game seems way too disjointed and random to put anything coherent together. Examining the different endings honestly made me more confused than I was before. What the ♥♥♥♥ is going on in this game?

Look more into the relationship between She and the main character. The in-between loading screens especially.

Gonna be honest I really don’t want to play through this a third time. I don’t find it fun. Is there a half decent story breakdown anywhere?

Essentially what I've figured out so far is that while the main character and She were in a relationship, She had issues with the main character's more bookworm lifestyle and sedentary hobbies, so she cheated on him.

From what I gathered, the story is about forgiveness. Does he forgive her and save her anyways? Or does he hold onto his anger and let it drive him?
