I'm currently discussing the idea to open subforums for specific topics with the team, thanks for the heads up on that!
Regarding your suggestions about lack of stone and resources overall, later in the game, you can have laborer buildings such as the Forester's Hut (They cut down trees and plant them as they go) or the Stone Quarry () which do provide a relatively infinite number of resources for you.
nice on the speed of the reply and all. the forester is perfect for the wood though the stone quarry i had not seen at all not even the iron mines for starters. ^^;
if they are already there I had not seen them yet.
otherwise if there is ai improvements for trade it is needed especially with ai controlled settlements active especially for single player use.
