Why was the Dark Queen turned into a child?

Seriously, can we not have any female characters that are sexy without them being changed into something that makes them totally unrecognizable?

She's not even the same character anymore so what's the point?

Sexuality is fun, it's that simple.
But for some reason it just keeps getting erased constantly, I have a really hard time believing that anyone can think that the new '' Dark Queen '' pretender is actually legitimately a more fun and appealing character.

Edit: Not to mention that the more '' cheesecake '' design just fits the tone and style of Battletoads too.
She honestly looks like a Nikelodeon character now.

I like the Jessica Rabbit dominatrix design myself, but my guess is they were either going for a lower rating or Disney might have had a problem with the design.

As I said, the original design looks like Jessica Rabbit (from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) if she were a dominatrix. I believe Disney might have a copyright on Jessica Rabbit, but I'm not sure. Either way, it's a shame as I prefer the original design. That being said, I do wish they'd just changed the hair instead of getting rid of her classic look entirely.

See, I grew up in the 80s and 90s and the cartoons I watched back then as a kid were full of sexy women. Thundercats, He-Man, Dungeons & Dragons, She-Ra, Thundarr...

Cartoons back then had realistic looking characters (that would take more effort to draw and animate). They were not afraid of being sexy without being disrespectful.

definitely dungeons & dragons, thatcartoon was the shiz. I really had a thing for Tiamat as ashamed as I feel saying it. I was also pretty into Princess Lana on Captain N. And Evil-Lyn... and when Meg Foster played her in the movie... that totally made up for how weird and offbeat that movie was. So did Gwildor, loved the little guy... not in that way of course. The movie wasn't bad, I still enjoy it, it was just pretty weird. But definitely 80s.

Or it is a reboot and she is another Dark Queen andn not the same. For example my desigin is different on each of my versions(1987, 2003 2012, Rise of the teenage mutantn nina turtles(2018 curent version).

Yes, Disney owns JR, but they got nothing on the Dark Queen. They didn't claim copyright infringement back then and they couldn't now.
Having said that. They really didn't need to use the exact same old design. They could just reference it better or at least have more respect for it.
Anyway, the overall art design for the new game is awful.
