Report a translation problem
So comfort of living translates to +1 support per human population. Thus +2 comfort of living means you will +2 Support if you have a single human population (for example in the HQ building). If your city started at -1 comfort of living, then you would be at +1 now and only get +1 support from the population in the HQ.
For this ability you would get +1 extra comfort of living for every 2 robot you have in the city. So to get +4 comfort of living in total, you would need 8 robots in the city.
You can view the details of your human and robot population in the city by hovering the icons at the top of the city screen.
Edit: I have corrected an error in my explanation (as pointed out by root, thanks). The building does not have a default +2 comfort of living, only the special ability. SOrry about that.
