Hello Terraformers!

We've written a manual to explain the game and some of its underlying systems. It can be found here:

For new players I would still suggest to learn the game by playing the tutorial, but for those seeking more information this might help.

Be nice if this was in the game. You have an encyclopedia section for additional information already, but nothing in there describes the game mechanics. Had to go looking around to understood what some of the terms meant on the buildings because I couldn't find it in game.

I agree with Pysassin, and also believe their (harmless and fairly constructive) post was on-topic, because it would be helpful to have the information in the manual, or at least some of it, accessible in-game, or at the very least the manual be reachable from the application. That shouldn't be too hard to implement.

The off-topic post I was referring to has been deleted, apparently by the person who posted it. It was some nonsense about a female personage in the game, and his decision to hang himself because he hated the political ramifications of said female. Ridiculous post.

Thank you, Jasper! And, I second the request to add the full manual to the game, at least as a link accessible from the pause menu or some way to get it at any time from within the game.

From the perspective of someone who logged over 120 hours in the EA versions, appreciate sections 15 & 16 in the manual. Was always a little fuzzy about those parts of the game.

hach I never realised I could move an entire city. Now I won't have to lose cities to floods or time it till the last minute before I reach my objectives.

Going over the manual, I noticed the player is generally referred to with "he". Just wanted to let you know that, weird as it sounds at first, "they" can be used in English to refer to the third person (apparently dating back to Shakespeare).

You can also build dikes in cities to prevent flooding.

Thanks for the feedback. That has been an oversight on our part as we do try to use inclusive pronouns everywhere. I'll make a note to update the manual.
