If you like to share the same google docs.
Thank you Najy76 and Paulotecario for your dedication and work on that aspect.
I want to provide some details to help in your endeavor, but also would like to clarify some things from our end. Due to legal ramification, we will not be able to directly use your translation in the official release of game. There is also the possibility that we eventually provide an official translation in these languages, though there are not plans for it at the moment.
To share the translation with the community, it will have to be through the steam workshop (please don't directly share files on steam or discord). We we haven't implemented the steam workshop yet but it's on our todo lis and I hope we will have it working for and update in January.
The localisation file can be found at the following location in the game's folder: \Terraformers\Terraformers_Data\StreamingAssets\localisation_data.csv
You can just modify it or replace it with a new one with more languages. Be aware that updating the game (or doying the "verify files" action on steam) will revert the file to the official version, so do a backup of it outside of steam.
We directly use that internaly and do not have a .po file. The game will read the header line to know what language are available and to display them in the drop down. Thus if you add a new column it should appear correctly in game. If a line is not translated it will default to english, so a partial translation should still work. If there are issues with the tags we use in the code, for inserting values or icons it might throw some error message and/or display the key instead. It might break the game further though normally we have made it a bit more robust.
I look forward to share this Italian localization with you through the Terraformers Steam workshop.
I would also like to know how many people find this translation useful. I hope it is and that I have done a good job.
Japanese translation is now in progress
