there is a bug on japan tea house roof

Same here. I cannot get any of the planks to create the roof. I've tried them all.

some planks / beams you must buy in the shop
press "O" for the shop
and I remember, some of them you have to edit of the sawhorse
for the roof even 2 times
try that. I was able to build that house 3x so far

I bought planks/beams in the shop and it was still telling me I needed different materials, any ideas which ones are correct? unless you need to cut them first?

The parts I were referring too didn't need to be put on the sawhorse, only cut to length, you learn something new in the game every-time :p

yes there are different types. some need to be cut, some to edit in sawhorse.

Does anyone know where the bought items go? I keep getting that "cut scene" showing a raft arriving but then I can't find the materials I bought anywhere. And since I kept ordering stuff one by one just to see if items appear somewhere, I'm now getting a 100$ fine on every order.

you need to look towards water and down from the house. there are 2 boats, 1 of which is the selling point

I scan the area with Z and none of the items turn blue. I grabbed one beam and it was the right one. Also making the mortar with the sticks, does not work.

Shinglet is not a beam you need for the top of the house ..

I got the two side beams for the roof, but I don't know (and can't find) the beam that has to go in the middle..

No, those are the two side ones.. What beam should go in the middle ? Nothing will fit and if I place any on the sawhorse it says "wrong material"

I am stuck on the roof. The roof is fully constructed except one side which is blue,I have purchased shinglets but cant place them. No idea what to do. I have bought just about everything in the shop with negative results. Z is no help, its telling me to nail the roof. So I guess game over,

I just had the same problem. You can't buy the 'beam' from the shop. Look around on the ground and hopefully you have one left over, I did. It's square in shape, not flat like the planks you buy from the store. The game gives you all the materials you need for the roof, just look around on the ground for it
