Bug on Steam Deck

Hi everyone, I'm writing to you because I wanted to report a bug in the game with the Steam Deck. The real problem is that dinosaurs have "corrupted" textures, their body is "segmented" as if it were "shredded" and the textures are broken, it seems as if they are "leaking" from the dinosaurs' body. I tried to check the integrity of the files, downloaded and corrected some errors, but the problem remains. Solutions?

I have this bug on the windows version, is there some beta/preview build for that, or is it only available for steam deck?

Hey! So the Developers are working on a fix, but in the meantime, you can play the game just fine in preview mode without any damage to your save files. It’s easy to do!

I too was disappointed by my dinosaurs looking like John Carpenter's "The Thing", especially after seeing people on youtube running it flawlessly a year ago.

It's been two months, nothing has been fixed. The dinosaur textures are broken. Steam os version 3.5.7. Has anyone solved the problem?

I just bought it and found that this is happening and not solved, but sales are still open.
In my case (Deck OS 3.5.7) it is causing the OS to crash and restart without any message.

Does setting steamos on preview mode mean that all installed games will then download updates? Kinda defeats the purpose to fix one game at the risk of instability for all the rest

Yes. But I haven't come across any other games that became unstable after changing to preview mode. Haven't tested all other games though only a few

Why would they take it off sale? it only affects the steam deck and not Desktops...

to fix it just put your update channel on steam deck from stable to preview if i remember

I just bought this game last night along with 2 DLC's while it was on sale for $30....only to come here after installation to find out this has been a issue for 2 months. Very disappointed atm and might as well go back to playing Elden Ring. It at least has giant crabs I guess.

I want to keep the game in case it gets fixed in the near future, but I also kind of want my money back

This was me exactly two months ago hahaha wish I had refunded, still waiting on that fix
