Ranger Vehicles Unreachable Destination

After every storm, some of my ranger vehicles somehow bug out and think that certain locations (i.e. Ranger Stations, Avian Hatcheries) are unreachable.... I only manage to quick fix by taking direct control and it 'unstucks' itself, or move the whole building somewhere else. Never happens with my medical vehicles.... Why does this happen and is there a permanent way to fix it?
Edit: Found the issue. Apparently, the pathfinding is janked if you have a lot of buildings packed together or if the terrain is too steep. Makes the late game optimization very annoying.
