Not enough forest?

It seems very difficult to fulfill dinosaur "forest"requirement, specially for big dinosaur.

i also notice big dinosaur seems never walk into the forest, make it seems very dump to create large area but they will never interact with...

Is this a bug or am i missing something?

larger dinosaurs need larger areas for their territory. most dinosaurs you can get by with a 3x2 fence length pen(although i usually go 3x2.5 for easier need fulfillment) but the sauropods except amarga need large areas that are 3-5 times that. that's why i usually use that pen for a big multi-species drive through experience.

Sometimes even if you add a ♥♥♥♥ tonne of forest, the dinosaurs (especially sauropods) can take a while to actually add that area to their territory. Jsut keep an eye on how much territory they have and just be a little patient. If that isn't the issue, the dinosaur is just a ♥♥♥♥ and you're just going to have to allocate more space for it.

The dinos only take their territories into account when evaluating their needs so sometimes you wait a minute
