How to get "strong" dinosaurs?

In order to unlock large carnivores, I need to release three dinosaurs with the strong trait, but I can't unlock that trait because I need to release dinosaurs with the unfit trait. What should I do?

There are medium carnivores in South America that have a good chance to get this gene, can't recall the name, but it begins with H. They are fairly social so you can pump them out into a medium pen until you unlock the Giga.

Herrerasaurus has a base 25% chance to get this trait. just hatch three of these with the trait to unlock Giganotosaurus.

if you want to do the unfit part, build a lagoon and synthesize a bunch of unfit marine reptiles (iirc Styxo and Attenbororosaurus have a chance to get this trait) to unlock (sell these once released since unfit marines have a nasty habit to starve very fast due to bad stamina)
