You can also see a tab that says REQUIREMENTS. You tap on the arrow and a list of complementary mods necessary for it to work will be displayed. Also... some mods require DLCs, just some.
In the files they have instructions on how to install them.
Basically it's just either replacing "Jurassic World Evolution 2\Win64\ovldata" files or just adding the new folder inside.
Remember that the mods are not supported by Frontier and you should ask this question to the author of the mod you want to install on Nexus.
1 once you get the mods that are required for most Ex: ACSE and species viewer fix, you should start with a "new species" mod, as they are quite simple to add to your game. just copy the folder and add it to ovldata. Have fun with mods, but don't overload on them.
then make sure to follow Muldoon's advice
