Was the sandbox large map bug fixed?
Game will no longer load after you've build on about 55-65% of the land on those huge square maps. Was this ever resolved?

Hey there,

Already did that, they said they weren't able to figure it out. A lot of people having this issue...unable to load huge maps after about 55-70% construction completion....If you want let me know if it's ever fixed so I can continue buying DLC's thanks.

Same issue here. It seems that the save is too big so the game cannot take it and then crashed

Until an announcement is made that this is fixed, will not be touching this game.

Hm, is the game really crashing or freezing?

I played all 5 challenges side by side (5 different saves) and jumped between them, when I was annoyed of how it went all down in one of the maps.
So I rather continued on another.
United Kingdom was possibly my favourite.

However, the bigger the parks got, the longer the save had to be loaded.

Sometimes I sat there for 2 to 3 minutes waiting until I loaded into the park. oO

That's usually the first sign.

For me it just stays at a "sign".
The waiting times may get longer, but neither does the game crash nor hang up for me. :wellok:

We could argue that waiting for around 5 minutes to load a save is awful. No arguments there. ^^

It will only crash when loading a huge square map with 75%+ completion.

Is that one bigger than the open Southwest American one?
(open means that I used the option without the mountains inbetween)

As I am currently on that Sandbox and will clutter it to the fullest. :D

Which means, I'll report back if I run into any stability issues when loading up the save. ;)

So, I am at over 300 creatures now (all sea and flying creatures have been released), but I'll still add more land creatures.

Performance is bad, but still playable luckily. Loading the save takes ages. oO

Maybe I'll get close to the crash soon. :O

By the way, could you share one of your saves were the game crashes upon loading?
Unmodded would be best, as I do not use any mods and having mods saved could cause issues.
But I really would like to try loading it.

Let me know when you've filled one of those large sandbox square maps (forget the generic name) past 80% about, with a lagoon also. Not just the enclosures, but with stores etc. This killed all my games, wasted hours....

I've now already bad performance. XD
Not sure if I want to do another park. oO

You really cannot upload one of your saves to Google Drive? :/
