Similar settings if not identical, except maybe for choosing a flattened map, which I don't remember if I selected or not on the San Diego one
Had a nodosaurus suddenly drop in health, starving, so I zoomed in on it and it looked like it was running in place. Then one right next to it did the exact same thing. Tranquilized them both and moved them over slightly and they ran off to find food.
Saved my game and closed out and just came back (about 3 hours later) and it doesn't seem to be happening again, yet.
