Worth buying on sale?

i played the game on day one and refund it because it was too easy and really flawed / unfinished. Anyone out there who played this game during the last updates? Is it a challenging game right now?

I'm new, but unless sandbox mode is also new then your statement about it being "too easy" is absurd. This game has by far the best sandbox mode settings iv'e ever seen in a game. you can customize EVERYTHING to make as easy or hard as you like.

i bought the base game with the two dominion DLCs, in this sale. Deluxe edition is not worth it. The original base game itself has a ton of content in it, and the two dominion DLCs are best among all DLCs. So go for the dominion pack.

I purchased the whole thing and DLC in the spring sale. However I could never fix the error cannot save issue, despite making folders for save not read only and moving the game save folder onto another SSD/verifying, loaded/restarting etc - could not ever get it to save settings let alone any in game progress.

Refunded, never found a workable solution (windows 11) - and scoured google/reddit all placed for a solutions. I would get this even now on sale - I just cant get the save error fixed, ah well.

windows 11 is petty bad for gamers, that PC game user are avoiding windows 11 like the plague

So far I have had 87 hours of fantastic gameplay with JWE2 and the Deluxe edition (full price on release) and this week I have picked up the Biosyn and Late Cretaceous packs, so in terms of value during the sale, I'd say jump in asap!

The improvements since release have been ten fold and the reason why I have come back after a good few months. Support looks set to continue for a good while, since I don't see JWE3 a thing, and more DLC packs alongside free updates is fine with me.

Windows 11 user and zero problem since I upgraded, with this game or any other.

I bought it because I am a huge fan of the movies and played the first one although it was for only a few hours... but I liked it. This one however is addicting!

So much to do and not too hard to learn the mechanics and how things work... I LOVE how you can go into first person mode and literally walk around a Dinosaur park that you built.

People can have problem depended on their hardware set. Have heard people having with stability from different people, might be different for everyone. Also frontier may have a different folder structure for windows 11, which is why online save fix don't work or not many

Not in my opinion, this is still flawed, and bugged. There's just too many bugs to list, don't know where to begin. The annoying ones are the animals just bugging, not animating correctly, clipping through objects, not interacting with environment they way they are intended to. The busier the park gets the worse it gets and then everything is just screwed up. Is it not an objective to grow the park? Maybe they'll fix it years from now.

The game is still pretty buggy, and whilst not of sufficient quality to warrant full price, I tend to think the sale price is worth it.

Nah, not worthy even on sale. Not right now. Maybe when they fix something, it will (if you are a dinosaur fan). But dont get high hopes.
