I'm glad i did not buy this game now
I'm honestly glad i got gifted this game because the campaign was short and then when I got to chaos theory it just became a buggy mess. Seriously ranger teams can not find routes yet gates are right there. powerstations bugging out and a multitude of other issues. Checking google and so many other people have had these issues since launch. Did the devs /publisher just give up and not want to fix any of this?

I want to know what these people that have non-stop bugs are doing. I have the occasional minor bug, but I have never had any of the non-stop bugs that prevent me from playing like some people seem to complain about.

Most people, not some. Go to the official bug report page and look for dinosaurs starving or marine feeder not working, you'll find hundreds of results!! Don't blame us for this broken game.

Yeah i get the ranger thing too. The door is literally right in front of the building and it still reports that they cant get to it even though there's nothing but a path there. Its irritating

Whilst the bugs are not constant, they are sufficiently pernicious to mar my enjoyment of the game. The worst of which is the 'dinosaurs starving to death' bug; even if I scatter an enclosure with feeders, the dinosaurs can stand within spitting distance of several feeders and starve to death, when this happens I generally just quit the game as can't be bothered with it.

There's a few others, like flying lizards getting stuck and not eating, and also a couple of times I've had it where helicopters cannot take dinos from a hatchery for an 'airlift release'. These bugs have all been present since release, and are widely reported and discussed, so my assumption is FD have no intention of resolving.

They're not game-breakers, but are sufficiently annoying and regular to frustrate what is normally quite enjoyable game play.

Exactly! I don't understand why there are people who insist on defending this garbage!

Eh, I've played through two Challenge missions in the past week on Hard, and didn't have enough bugs to keep me from hitting par scores.

The thing is, playing sandbox you cant deactivate most features that will eliminate those bugs, but of course you wont be playing the game anymore it will be completely boring and pointless.

The most annoying bug right now is how broken are the rangers and the mvu. Terrible. Again, if you decide to do everything manually with them (you like pain) you wont be having any bugs with them lol.

Just because I'm playing sandbox, it doesn't mean I turn EVERYTHING off, just the taxes and need for income.

its "less defending this garbage" and more"how come I'm not finding all these bugs some seem to have and act like its everywhere all the time." And though I do see some saying it crashes all the time, it's certainly not a common thing in the threads. In any event, only once did I have a ranger team blocked (aside from when I forgot to put a gate) and it was at a sharp incline, and even then it didn't say it couldnt get there I just noticed it kept driving up to a point and then stopping. It was easily fixed by me manually driving it that one time.

And i didnt have many problems with rangers until about one or two months ago (just the usual ones), but right now, they are a pure mess. Sometimes you dont see these bugs, but sometimes you have 4 ranger teams and none of em cant access any ranger post, even if its a frikkin straight line of ten meters.

Sometimes the problem is that the ranger gets stuck on a terrain surrounded by trees and it cant find a path wherever it wants to go. As simple as that. Since a while rangers cant even climb a frikkin hill without getting stuck or having to find other alternative routes. This wasnt the case time ago. And dont let me start talking about the "unreachable by vehicle" problem or ranger posts.

But honestly, lately? i cant make a frikkin park without experiencing these bugs. If you dont, you are playing another completely different game than us.

I noticed this too with carnivores starving to death... So I added some cheap herbivores and other carnivores into the same pen... life found a way.
