But I would like some realistic dino behaviour, too.
lastly
"we have been adding and looking into as well, group attacks for certain species"
It's been confirmed, though we haven't actually seen it yet. As long as it's not a canned animation, and is like JPOG it'll be good enough. In fact it would be good if the hunting in general was like that too.
I just hope they are not scripted, that's all.
It'll probably the same boring animation where you see the animals slide into position for 10 seconds before the animation plays and only has 1 way it goes per group. So one for Ceratopsians, 1 for stegosaurs, 1 for hadrosaurs, 1 for ankylosaurs, et
That or they'll go with the hunting in Planet Zoo, which I have no idea what that's like. I don't actually own PZ myself and I can't really tell what the hunting is like based on the videos on Youtube.
Also hope they don't go overboard with the territory system (making every dinosaur territorial); not every animal has a territory you know, some just wonder about in herds.
(Seems like they have, and made it very gimmicky to force the dinosaurs to fight more)
I realize I'm late to the party here, do we know where that was confirmed?
No reason to be rude about it. I haven't seen it, search on the forums came up with this thread.
for example sometimes they all jump on a (lets say t-rex) and all bite and the t-rex shake them off and all that, but do you mean chase the prey? sorry i dont really get it lol
