And with the Giganotosaurus from the preview looking an awful lot like Indominus its safe to say there'll be more hybrids.
And if I recall correctly, Giganotosaurus was a part of Indominus Rex DNA which would make sense in that case.
That is what I have heard, too. There will be new dinos, like the pyroraptor, but no new hybrids.
I can imagine that the fans weren't too happy with the "new movie, new hybrid" concept.
It just seemed like a bad strategy of movie making. Even the Spino seemed like a hybrid which helped make the third movie even worse than it already was.
Scorpius Rex...now all I see is that abysmal Scorpion King from The Mummy Returns but then with a rex head instead of the Rock
But of course there are far worse movies, like AvP or some of the Godzillas (which are basically the definition of "trash").
I have high hopes for Dominion, too, and I LOVE Camp Cretaceous (yea, I know its for kids
I think they made a retcon that Spino was a hybrid as part of the Dinosaur Protection Group marketing campaign.
