Please let this game actually bring back my fond memories of the 90's and simpler times.
If you want a general breakdown of why he sucks, here's a fun video that hits many of the points:

Be warned, the title is...misleading. To say the least.
Not a huge Peterson fan, but I respect him a lot.
This game and that person have nothing to do with each other though, so take this attempted smearing back to your batcave or whatevs. Cheers.

Some boomer's opinions and some random dev's like of said boomers opinions doesn't really matter in the grand scope of the things or in context of this video game.
If i were to make a video game, I would want everyone to enjoy it, even the most conservative fella as I want my art to be enjoyed for what it is, not weighed down by my own personal politics or anyone else's really unless it serves to enrich the game itself.
In JK Rowling's case, they were literally site wide boycotts of the game in the left game sites like resetera. For this game, it doesnt matter. And all JK Rowling did was fight for Biological woman's rights. Something that 90% of Americans agree with. Thats the left for you.
But I heard this and looked into it. I am satisfied both by looking at the section of The Messenger in question and a direct response to them being questioned on it elsewhere, that this isn't the case. Quite the opposite even.
Rowling, isn't "merely defending biological women," she is a TERF that is crusading against trans people. One can fight for biological women while not cutting down the trans community. On the subject of boycotts and her, it wasn't too much loss for me to cut her out when the news broke on all that, I think she's a terrible writer. I would have liked to play Hogwart's Legacy, it does legit look good, and has little involvement from her as I understand it. However, she still makes money off of it. So, pass from me.
Obviously, some things are harder to cut than others and it's fair to have a line somewhere. Personally, I am unimpressed by the boundaries some have, but I'm not perfect/with infinite alternative options either.
"The left" isn't monolithic, mind.
