Help: My game keeps crashing

Hello

So, i've been trying to open the game for a while now but it keeps closing itself everytime, it's always right after the developers logo appears, so i didn't even got to play it yet. I tried to update some drivers but the crashing persists. Anyone's having the same problem? Any tips?

Hi friend, I had the same problem and someone suggest (as a temporary solution, if you dont want to wait for a patch) to delete the following file:

Sea of Stars\SeaOfStars_Data\Plugins\x86_64\lib_burst_generated.dll

It had work for me. And I've been playing for about two hours, no other issues so far regarding the deleted file.

I'll be waiting for a patch too, but i'll be playing until then

If you are still having trouble, I would suggest an actual clean uninstall and reinstall. To do so, uninstall the game from Steam. Exit Steam. Delete the install folder for the game. Download and install CCleaner to run a clean of your registry, this will clear out the registry keys for the game (that are corrupted!). Reboot PC, open Steam and reinstall!

If you do not want to do this easy way of doing it, and are feeling confident, you can do regedit. I will not explain how here because a not so tech savvy person might delete something that they ought not to, but you or anyone else wants to do...leave a message on my profile! I'll be glad to walk you through every step, it's really not so scary.

Alternatively, just uninstall the game, exit Steam, remove the folder manually and reboot your PC. I don't put much stock in this solution though.

No problem! I hope it doesn't crash anymore though. Be sure to let Sabotage know via the Discord though, could help them iron it out for other players! :)
