From HyperT's initial post on his website,
Seraï joined me at Lv. 7, and I currently have her at Lv. 28 (serious grinding and NG+).
I was able to put 3/4 levels into MP before it disappeared completely from bonus stat allocation.
3/5 levels in ATK before it disappeared.
5/5 levels in M.ATK before it disappeared, leaving only 3 stats to choose from.
3/5 levels into HP before it disappeared, leaving only 2 stats to choose from.
5/5 levels into DEF before it disappeared, leaving only M.DEF to choose from.
For Lv. 27 and 28, I could only choose M.DEF as my bonus stat (2/5).
So that means from Lv. 2 ~ 7 (6 levels total), 1 level was used on MP, 2 levels on ATK, 2 levels on HP, and the final level on M.DEF. For my remaining 2 levels 29 and 30, I can only cap out the remaining 2 investments into M.DEF.
If you have genuinely crunched the numbers and she is equivalent then I apparently was.
But I have her at level 7, which is exactly when I got her, and she feels roughly the amount of stats behind that she would be absent of the per level bonus stats.
Maybe the weapon she starts with is just 14 attack behind or something.
So she's #1 in raw damage for low investment if anything is weak to slashing or poison. 2/6.
There's only 4 combos in the game that lock 3 different damage types. Seraï is part of 3 of those combos.
She may be the only character with no heal/revive/buff, but she has a skill and a combo that both delay turns, which is often much better and also makes all locks easier.
Then there's the money printer.
Her uses were the least obvious to me at first, but she ended up being my most used character. And that says a lot considering how much I need to abuse Lunar Shield because I'm still bad at timing defenses on many bosses and my preferred way to play is to die a lot with AG, DD, no positive relics and no gold accessories. Dark Souls ftw. Or ftl.
